Jaquecas crónicas de la lucha con Omega-3 y las hierbas [15 Aug 2008|12:09am]

lavez8796

Queens Of Hope Pageant! [27 Apr 2005|12:34pm]

oninekotonya
I'm not entirely sure if this sort of post is allowed in this community, so I apologize if I am violating any community rules...

Hello all you beauty queens! I need your help!

I am going to be competing in a pageant in May called the Queens of Hope pageant. This is a very special pageant, since there will be no prizes awarded. Why you ask? Because this is a fundraiser! 100% of ALL money raised for this pageant is going to be donated to the local Relay for Life Cancer Foundation. All of the participating contestants have been asked to raise as much money as possible by the pageant date to help in this noble cause.

This is a cause that is very close to my heart. When I was 15 I was diagnosed with cancer. After going through 3 surgeries in less than 2 months I was healthy. My boyfriend’s mother is a breast cancer survivor. After months of intense Chemotherapy treatments she is now cancer free.

I would personally like to raise a minimum of $250 to donate to this cause. This is where I need your help. I would like to ask everyone to donate just $1. Even a small donation such as that will help fund cancer treatment research. Please, mail just $1 dollar bill. A stamp only costs $0.37. So for a total of just $1.37 you can help save someone’s life. Please mail all donations no later than May 15th to: Queens of Hope C/O Tonya P.O. Box 236 Sand Fork, WV, 26430

Or if you would like to make a larger donation, or if you would like to donate instantly via PayPal, please use the PayPal Button below...

Thank you everyone. Any amount you could provide would be GREATLY appreciated.

The LaziesCollapse )

I have informed all of the participants of the coming of round two, but still only 11 out of the remaining 20 have submitted their entries. If you have not already, please complete round 2, and if I don't get all the people to continue, I will skip a round or two, depending on how many people submit. It is the 4th of August, and I will cut off on August 10th. If you want to enter late, feel free to fill out the survey for round one and enter it as a comment to this post.

I hope you all are having fun!

If you were invited to go onto the next round, please do assignment 2. If you can't continue the pageant, tell me. DO NOT JUST NOT DO IT, it pisses me off. I have to replace you if you drop out, so give me a chance to.

Could all of you kind members who have already done the assignment please help me to remind members to it too? It would be greatly appreciated.

Much love.

JEN

If people drop out of the pageant I am going to need extra people to fill the spots. If you entered at first, you can submit here, and if you have never entered you can. Leave your entry as a comment to this post. Anyone can enter! Just meet the requirements on the first post and fill out the survey that I used on the first assignment and if someone drops out I can use you to fill their spot. Please leave contacts so I can get a hold of you if I want you in the pageant.

JEN

I leave you with this GREAT logo.

This is not a stupid survery, no sir-ee-bob. It isn't a normal pageant either. I don't know HOW I came up with this idea.

Time Passes us by... [10 Jul 2004|04:16pm]

[ mood | crazy ]

I realize that I am supposed to cut off entries on July 14th, but I just started this pageant, and believe that the number of entries is not satisfactory for how many people I would like to have before I start cutting. I will close the submission when I have enough people joining, which will probably be around the 20th. But no promises. THANKS!

If you are reading this and haven't entered, WHY NOT? scroll down to the first entry and post your entry as a comment. Fill out the survey included.

peachstreeeet
[ mood | accomplished ]

Hello everyone! My name is Jen, and I am holding this pageant!

To enter you have to become a member and leave me a comment. But first, consider the following:

Guidelines:
-You must be female, sorry boys!
-You must come up with a creative pageant name, such as Ms. Totally in Love, and include it every time you make an entry.
-You must have entries in by the due date or it will not be counted.
-If you want to join late, after the pageant has begun, contact me at lasttuesday212@aol.com or become a member and leave a comment.
-Do everything in an organized fashion, do not create a mess, because I don't want to have to search around for anything!
-If possible, make your pictures visible on the screen, but if not, include a link.
-You must do everything in an assignment to qualify, though I will notify you if you don't have it completed.

ASSIGNMENT ONECollapse )

Thanks, get this to me by July 20th!
